Ginger rhizomes with stalks, roots, and shoots attached
Welcome!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Sex Therapist, and Educator who has provided therapy in the queer community since 2010. My passion is working with adults to explore sexuality, gender, trauma, and equity. I deeply believe it’s each person’s birthright to experience liberation and connection to self as well as others. More often than not, obstacles from the outside separate us from meaningful connections, not internal flaws. If we work together, you’ll find me to be your fellow investigator, unearthing what keeps you from living more fully and curiosity towards what could happen instead.
My Intention
My intention is to build therapeutic relationships that nurture validation and growth. I’ve witnessed growth happen when someone is provided a combination of acceptance and enough safety to tolerate being challenged. I hope to explore this edge with you, whether through therapy, trainings, consultation, or clinical supervision.
What is a Rhizome?
Rhizomes are supportive stem systems known for their horizontal growth patterns. They spread outward continuously and are able to generate new growth from any broken point. Because of their lateral, cooperative, and resilient design, rhizomes have become a symbol of collective liberation. I see them as a reflection of the wild and protective relationships I hope to build with individuals and communities.
Who am I?
As a queer, mixed-race, non-binary, mid-career, relational therapist, I find that the older I get, the more I know who I am. My clients describe me as “warm,” “genuine,” and “a little bit strange.” You may read more about me below.
